MARVI OCEAN exists at the intersection of craft and conservation. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of marviocean.com (the "Site") and any order placed through it. By visiting the Site or placing an order, you accept these Terms in full.

1. Our Business

MARVI OCEAN is an Australian sole trader business based in NSW, Australia. ABN: 83 902 374 795. For anything you need, our Contact page reaches us directly.

2. Made to Order

Each piece is created by MARVI OCEAN and made to order through our production partner, one garment at a time. A few things follow from that:

● Nothing is produced until your order is placed

● Because each piece is made specifically for you, production and delivery take longer than off-the-shelf retail — current estimated timeframes are on our FAQ page

3. Orders & Payment

Placing an order is an offer to purchase at the listed price, which we accept once payment is successfully processed. All prices are in AUD and include GST where applicable, unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order — for instance, in cases of suspected fraud, a pricing error, or a production issue — and you'll receive a full refund if that happens.

4. Shipping

We ship across Australia and internationally. Costs and estimated timeframes are shown at checkout and on our FAQ page. Once an order leaves our production partner's facility, delivery timing depends on the carrier and, for international orders, local customs processing — both outside our control. Please ensure your shipping details are accurate at checkout; we're not responsible for delays or non-delivery caused by an incorrect address.

5. Returns, Refunds & Faulty Items

Because every piece is made to order for you specifically, we don't offer returns or exchanges for change of mind, incorrect size selection, or similar reasons.

If something arrives faulty, damaged, or misprinted, we'll make it right — contact us within 180 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the issue, and we'll arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you.

Nothing here limits any right or remedy available to you under the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded.

6. Sizing

Please consult our size chart before ordering — garments are made to order, and sizing isn't eligible for change-of-mind exchange. If you're between sizes or unsure, reach out via our Contact page before placing your order.

7. Our $1 Conservation Contribution

MARVI OCEAN sets aside $1 AUD from every order to donate to Sea Shepherd Australia, with donations transferred on a monthly basis. This is a contribution we make as part of how we operate — it's not an added charge, and it doesn't affect the price you pay.

8. Intellectual Property

Every design, image, and word on this Site is created by MARVI OCEAN and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Nothing may be reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without our written permission.

9. Website Use

By using this Site, you agree not to:

● Interfere with its security or functionality

● Transmit harmful code or unsolicited advertising through it

● Misuse discount codes or promotions outside their intended terms

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MARVI OCEAN is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site or your order, including delays caused by our production or shipping partners. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Third-Party Services

Our Site runs on Shopify and relies on third-party services for payment processing, production, and fulfilment. Your use of those services may also be governed by their own terms and privacy practices.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal obligations. The date at the top of this page always reflects the most current version. Continuing to use the Site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and any dispute arising from them falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
